Whilst the majority of the City of Canterbury swimmers attended the Crawley Easter Open Meet two swimmers, Becky Everest(11) and Cydney Martin(13) went to the short course meet at reading. Both swimmers excelled, gaining top six placing in all but one of their swims. |

Becky had a superb weekend with 1st place in the 100m fly and 400m IM, 3rd in the 200 breaststroke and 100m backstroke and 4th in the 50m and 100m freestyle and the 200m backstroke. Indeed Becky had 6 pb's out of 8 races. Cydney had three pb's out of four races and was placed in the top six in all of them. She came 3rd in the 100m freestyle, 4th in the 100m and 200m backstroke and 5th in the 200m freestyle. |

| So another gala ends with Canterbury swimmers having pb'd, come home with medals, placing's and enhancing the club's reputation of having excellent competitive swimmers.
