Success at Nationals For City Swimmers

Its been another successful National championships for the clubs swimmers, with finals reached, new pb’s and a new National champion with Karl Botha winning the 200m fly in a new club record.

Karl just back from competing in the Youth Olympics where he achieved 3 rd place in the 100m fly was in fine form at the Nationals, coming home with a silver in the 100m fly as well as pb’s in the 50m and 100m Freestyle. Over successes were Holly Ralfe who reached 3 finals, with 5 th in the 100m Freestyle and backstroke and 9 th in 200m backstroke. Holly , along with Dominika Szucsova, Caroline Robinson and Elizabeth Wells competed in the 400m Freestyle relay. Caroline also swam a number of PB’s in the individual events. Guy Hewett was just outside his pb in the 100m Freestyle. Luke Smith, Angus Hewett, and Michael Stanley all swam some pb’s in their individual races.
