Margate Open 4th June 2006

The club sent a squad of 31 swimmers to the 22nd Margate Age Group Gala. On a sunny day the Hartsdown Leisure Centre was as normal - HOT!. The heat though seemed to suit the Canterbury swimmers, far more than the parents and spectators as the club bagged a total of 29 medals including 9 first places. For results click here...

She won all four individual titles taking the backstroke, butterfly and freestyle all in personal best times and taking the breaststroke by a very large winning margain.
