Canterbury swimmers had mixed success during the Guildford designated Open event. Even though there were few actual PB's there were many well placed swims. |

Erin Walsh produced great swims throughtout the weekend winning the 9yr 200m breaststroke. She was also 3rd in the 4x25m IM, 4th in the 200m freestyle, and 5th and 6th in the 50m breaststroke and freestyle respectively. There were 1st places in the 100m, 200m breaststroke and 200m IM for Catherine Lough (13yr) who also gained 4th in the 100m freestyle. Louise Smith (14yr) won the 100m Freestyle and 100m breaststroke, with 3rd in 200m freestyle. Helen Robinson (13yr) won the 200m freestyle and came 2nd in the 100m fly and freestyle, with a 3rd place in the 200m IM. |

Francesca Beale (15yr) came first in the 200m breaststroke and also came 3rd in the 50m breaststroke and 4th in the 100m breaststroke. Emma Harris (15yr) swam consistently well to get 2nd in the 100m backstroke, 3rd in the 200m backstroke and 100m freestyle, 4th in the 200m freestyle and 6th in the 200m IM. Stephanie Chaplin (17yr) came 2nd in the 50m and 100m fly, 4th in the 50m breaststroke and 5th in the 200m breaststroke. There were 2nd places for Lauren Wraight (14yr) in the 100m freestyle and 200m IM and Natalie Moore (12yr) in the 100m breaststroke. |

| Sophie Tomlin (14yr) swam well in the backstroke races to get 3rd in the 100m and 4th in the 200m events. Caroline Robinson (11yr) came 3rd in the 100m breaststroke and 5th in the 200m breastroke, Clair Robinson (15yr) came 5th in the 200m breaststroke as did Bethany Seaman (10yr). Rachael Seaman (13yr) swam well for 3rd and 5th in the 100m and 50m fly, and she also came 6th in the 200m freestyle |  |

For the boys there Ryan Powell (12yr) was 2nd in the 100m freestyle and 4th in the 50m freestyle. Laurence Hill (14yr) came 3rd in the 100m backstroke, 4th in the 50m backstroke and 6th in the 50m, 100m, 200m breaststroke and 200m backstroke. Michael Moore (16yr) was 4th in the 100m backstroke and 5th in the 50m backstroke and 4x25m IM. Jazz Malcom (15yr) came 5th in the 200m fly. |
